About Us
JSC - Events & Weddings is my company, named with the initials of my name: Jimena Silva Camacho. In Colombia, we proudly use both our parents’ last names as part of our identity.
My journey in the wedding industry began entirely by accident—a happy one. Over five years (and 35+ weddings) ago, while working as a freelance designer, I was approached by my best friend’s sister-in-law, a Colombian New Yorker, who had just said yes to getting married. We met, and the foundation of our partnership was trust— the very reason they chose me as their wedding planner. From there, my designer’s eye and background in fashion marketing helped shape the wedding professional I am today.
JSC - Events & Weddings was born from the belief that grand dreams become possible only when done right. This means building a team of skilled professionals and forging alliances that deliver work of the highest quality, always through love and excellence.
